Issue/Introduction

Fujitsu ServerView Suite CIM Providers for ESXi allow you to monitor and manage Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers in ESXi based environments. Server management can be performed using these providers from Fujitsu ServerView Operations Manager or any client that support CIM.
This article provides information about the Fujitsu ServerView Suite CIM Providers for ESXi 5.5 and above.

Fujitsu ServerView Suite CIM Providers

Fujitsu ServerView Suite CIM Providers are a component of the Fujitsu ServerView Suite. These providers are included in the ServerView DVD 1, which is supplied with the delivery of every Fujitsu PRIMERGY server and is also available per subscription or via download from Fujitsu’s website. Fujitsu ServerView Suite CIM Providers are also part of the Fujitsu custom ESXi Installable and ESXi Embedded image.
 
Supported hardware and software

For Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers were released for VMware ESXi.

Implementation schema details

Fujitsu ServerView Suite supports the CIM management standard, making it possible to view all physical and virtual machines through a single interface, with automatic grouping of VMware vSphere hosts for simplified administration.

CIM indications for SNMP mapping support

Fujitsu ServerView Suite provides support for mapping CIM indications to SNMP.
 
CIM client plug-in support

The Fujitsu ServerView Plug-in for VMware vCenter integrates Fujitsu PRIMERGY-specific information in the vSphere Web Client interface.
