CryptoManagerHost value is false in the vCenter MOB after enabling Host Encryption Mode

Issue/Introduction

• When checking the the CryptoManagerHost value in the vCenter MOB, the value is set to 'false' despite host encryption mode being enabled.
• MOB address: https://<vc ip address>/mob/?moid=CryptoManagerHost-<host id>

Resolution

This behavior is a cosmetic behavior and has no impact to the Host Encryption Mode. This issue is resolved in vCenter Server 7.0U3v - VMware vCenter Server 7.0 Update 3v Release Notes.

Workaround Options

• Option 1 - Disconnect and reconnect the ESXi host.
• Option 2 - Reboot vCenter.
