The issue has been noted on several different CPUs such as the Intel 11th Gen CPU on Windows 10, Intel Xeon Gold 6338N on Windows Server 2016 Standard and Windows 2016 server with Intel Ice Like Generation.
This issue of the SAM Console crashing on Windows 10/11 has been resolved in the Windows SAM Console 10.1.9 (thick client).
Console 10.1.9 is tested internally specifically on Windows with below configuration:
Processor - 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1185G7
Version 10.1.9 works on Windows 10/11 since it is built with latest supporting compilers from Visual Studio 2022 which also includes third party upgrades like ICU4j, ICU4c, Java and Spring Framework.
If the 10.1.9 of the Console does not resolve the issue it is recommended use Smarts-DM 2.4 console.
All the support for SAM Console Windows on 11th gen processor is done in Smarts-DM 2.4 with respect to third-party upgrades and build machine upgrade. Recommended to upgrade to Smarts-DM 2.4.
