vSphere with Tanzu Supervisor Control Plane VM's getting redeployed very rapidly

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
When enabling vSphere with Tanzu or after changing the supervisor control plane VM's storage policy, the VMs are being created and deleted very quickly. After a weekend, the supervisor control plane VM's may show up as "Supervisor Control Plane VM (10000)"

Environment

VMware vSphere 7.0 with Tanzu
VMware vSphere 8.0 with Tanzu

Cause

This can happen if the "VM Encryption" default storage profile is selected for the Supervisor Control Plane VM's, but the rest of the configurations for using encryption is not configured.

Resolution

Either configure the datastores/hosts to be able to use the default VM Encryption storage profile and make sure that it can deploy a regular VM with the storage profile, or use a different storage profile.
