Issue/Introduction

This was previously unsupported by CAPI until vSphere 8.0U2, at this point the capi version allows you to do this, but our webhook still prevents the operation. This will be fixed in 8.0U3.

Before 8.0U2: 100% unsupported. Only use in break glass situations and tell the customer that this is untested. It might work if you are just changing the storage profile, but any changes to the location or the size is not recommended.

On 8.0U2: Will work, but needs to follow the Bypass ValidatingWebhookConfiguration kb very carefully. Tell the customer this process is internal for now, and will be supported in 8.0U3

On or After 8.0U3: Fully Supported.
