NSX V2T - Error message during Migrate Configuration step: "The URI is invalid"

Issue/Introduction

Migrate Configuration step of V2T Migration fails with an invalid URI error.

Service Group example:
Config migration failed [Reason: HTTP Error: 400: { "module_name": "common-services" "error_message": "The URI is invalid" "error_code": 512 "details": ""} for url: http://localhost:7440/nsxapi/api/v1/infra/services/<Service Group name>]

Environment

VMware NSX 

VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

Currently, square brackets in an NSX-V Service Group, Group, Context Profile, etc. will cause Migration Configuration step of V2T migration to fail with the above error.

Resolution

This issue is to be resolved in NSX 3.2.2, 4.0.1.1, and subsequent releases.

Workaround:
1. Remove the square brackets from the NSX-V object name.
2. Rollback the migration, and then re-attempt the migration.
