Bitdefender GravityZone Security for Virtualized Environments

Supported software

Bitdefender GravityZone Security for Virtualized Environments (SVE) integrates with VMware NSX Guest Introspection to provide agentless antimalware scanning services for virtual machines.

SVE is delivered within a Security Virtual Appliance (Security Server) running on a hardened Linux server and is managed by the web-based Bitdefender GravityZone Control Center console.

 

The following VMware products are supported by GravityZone version 6.30.3-1:

  • NSX Manager 4.1, 4.0
  • VMware ESXI 7.0 GA (ESXi 7.0 GA) and newer
  • VMware ESXI 8.0 GA
  • vCenter Appliance 7.0 and newer
  • vCenter Appliance 8.0 and newer
  • VMware Tools 12.0.0 (with Guest Introspection drivers installed or Complete Mode) and newer
  • EPsec Library 3.2.0.0.0.19027014 and newer
