vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager doesn't list latest available content packs

Issue/Introduction

This article describes the issue of newly published contents not coming in the vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager Marketplace UI

Symptoms:

• You are unable to see the latest available content cards even after performing a sync operation

Environment

VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.2.x
VMware vRealize Automation 8.1.x
VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.3.x
VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 2.x

Cause

VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager marketplace service is integrated with the VSX solution exchange. The VSX will not be supported from December 2021.

The Marketplace service has been completely migrated to VMware Cloud Services and the content packs are now getting published in https://marketplace.cloud.vmware.com/

Resolution

The issue has been resolved in VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.4.1 Patch 3 and in vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.6 and above version where the vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager marketplace service is integrated with Cloud Marketplace.

Workaround:

To workaround the issue, you may download and install the content packs manually for the respective products from https://marketplace.cloud.vmware.com/
