No alarm and notification are triggered after editing the alarms if the severity is selected as "keep the current state"

Issue/Introduction

No alarm and notification are triggered under the following conditions.

• Editing and saving the alarm configuration via vSphere Client (HTML5 Client),
• The severity is selected as "keep the current state".

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 7.0.x
VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.7.x

Resolution

This issue is resolved in. 

• VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.7 Update 3p (build 18831133) or later.
• VMware vCenter Server Appliance 7.0 Update 3 (build 18700403) or later.

To workaround this issue :

• Select other severity, such as "Show as Warning" or "Show as Critical" instead of "Keep the target's current state".
