2022-11-29T12:39:17.961+0000 ERROR [vcf_migration,0000000000000000,0000] [c.v.e.s.o.model.error.ErrorFactory,pool-5-thread-10]  [777K1R] VALIDATE_VSPHERE_HA_ISOLATION_ADDRESS_OPTIONS_CONFIGURATION_FAILED Validate Configure High Availability Isolation Address(es) failed for Cluster <cluster name goes here>
com.vmware.evo.sddc.orchestrator.exceptions.OrchTaskException: Validate Configure High Availability Isolation Address(es) failed for Cluster <cluster name goes here>

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 4.4.x
VMware Cloud Foundation 5.0

Resolution

This issue is already fixed in VCF 4.5.x releases.

Workaround:
Follow the below steps:
1. Log in to the vCenter of the workload domain for which the config upgrade has failed.

2. For each cluster of that workload domain in the vCenter, remove all high availability isolation addresses by navigating to the cluster > Configure > vSphere Availability > Advanced Options. The isolation addresses will have a property key like "das.isolationaddress<a number between 0 and 9>"

3. Retry the config upgrade.
