Virtual machine which have been failover by HA might have connectivity issue when configured with Static IP

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
In an environment where a Host Isolation policy at the HA cluster is set to disabled in NSX-T, you see these symptoms:

• Routing fails.
• Failover virtual machine loses the IP address.

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 6.5
VMware vSphere ESXi 6.7
VMware NSX-T

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware ESXi 6.5.x, 6.7 and 6.7 Update 1.

Currently, there is no resolution.

Workaround:
To work around this issue, change the Host-Isolation policy to power off and restart.
