Emails sent from scheduled tasks in vCenter Server 7.0 U2/U3 are prefixed with [VMware Workstation] instead of [VMware VirtualCenter] in the subject line

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
After configuring a scheduled task with email notifications in vCenter Server, the subject line of the email is incorrectly marked as [VMware Workstation] instead of [VMware VirtualCenter].

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 7.0.3
VMware vCenter Server 7.0.2

Cause

This is a known issue affecting vCenter Server 7.0 Update 2 and Update 3.

Resolution

This is resolved in vCenter Server 8.0 Update 1b (build number 20519528).

Workaround:
There is no workaround for the issue at this time.
