Vertical scroll bar and page wrap are missing in role usage view in administration page in vSphere Client on vCenter 7 and vCenter 8

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

Tables in Administration > Access Control > Roles > Usage are missing a vertical scroll bar and don't resize with the screen size.

The table doesn't seem to limit the number of lines on a single page but just gets extended downwards.

Once you increase the zoom in your browser, the bottom end of the table gets hidden behind the recent tasks pane, with no option to scroll up as shown in the below image.

 

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 8.0.x
VMware vSphere ESXi 7.x

Resolution

This will be resolved in the following versions.

• vCenter Server 7.0 Update 3L
• vCenter Server 8.0 Update 1
