Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• You are attempting to upgrade your environment from a previous version 8.0 through 8.9.1 to 8.10.0 or above.
• vRealize Orchestrator prior to version 8.10.0 is stuck at 2/3 containers ready when starting with logs failing to update for more than 10 minutes.

Environment

VMware vRealize Orchestrator 8.x

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware vRealize Orchestrator 8.10.0.

See the Workaround section below for additional information.

Workaround:

1. Navigate to https://your_orchestrator_FQDN/vco-controlcenter.
2. Log in as root with the password you entered during OVA deployment.
3. Navigate to Plugins.
4. Remove all plugins.
5. Wait for vRO to start and upgrade to a later version.

Note: This will reinstall all OOTB plugin content. 3rd party plugins may need to be manually reinstalled.
