Skyline collector NSX-T endpoints cause failed login messages.

Issue/Introduction

• VMware Skyline is integrated with VMware NSX
• The VMware Skyline collector generates failed login messages on NSX endpoints.
• The following logs entries are seen in /var/log/syslog on the NSX Manager nodes, each failure message is followed by a success message per the following:

Cause

This issue is due to the Skyline encoding of NSX username and password which results in the failed logins to NSX managers.

Resolution

This is a known issue in VMware Skyline collector when integrated with VMware NSX. This issue is resolved in VMware Skyline Collector 3.4.
