Issue/Introduction

  • NSX Intelligence is not available in the Plan & Troubleshooting page in the NSX UI
  • /data partition on NSX Intelligence is at 100% usage. Most of the space is consumed by /data/zookeeper.

Environment

  • VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.x
  • VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

The zookeeper transaction logs/snapshots fill up the disk space. Zookeeper disables auto purge by default, which means the stale logs and/or snapshots are still kept on disk.

Resolution

Resolved in VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.1.0.

Workaround:

Run this command to delete the stale logs and/or snapshots in /data/zookeeper:

/opt/zookeeper/bin/zkCleanup.sh -n 3
