Issue/Introduction
Symptoms:
Following an NSX-V to NSX-T migration in Aria Automation provisioning intermittently fails with error:
Error: No placement exists that satisfies all of the request requirements. See 'Request Details' for more information. Original Task Error: 'Allocation filter error: Unable to find a common placement for compute 'VirtualMachine[0]' and its associated network resources on region '<Region Name/ID>'. Reason: network filter: host does not conform with the network configuration based on the networks of the blueprint and the selected network profile '<Network Profile Name>''
Environment
VMware vRealize Automation 8.x
Cause
The issue is cause by the creation of duplicate network objects that can arise under certain circumstances during the Aria Automation NSX-V to NSX-T migration process
Resolution
The issue is resolved in the VMware Aria Automation 8.11.1 release.
Workaround: To work around this issue, if affected contact VMware Support and note this Article ID (318267) in the problem description.
