Issue/Introduction

Reconfiguring a deployed NSX-T load balancer with a persistence configuration and adding a route as a day 2 action fails with an error:

routes[0].persistenceConfig: Expected '{"maxIdle":5,"cookieGarble":true,"cookieMode":"INSERT","type":"SOURCE_IP","ipPurge":true}' OneOf '[com.vmware.json.schema.model.JsonSchemaImpl@6b8a713e, com.vmware.json.schema.model.JsonSchemaImpl@f0ffa739, com.vmware.json.schema.model.JsonSchemaImpl@a11ca322]' but matched several.

Environment

VMware vRealize Automation 8.x

Resolution

This issue is resolved in vRealize Automation 8.10.2 and later

Workaround:

  1. Login to Cloud Assembly.
  2. Navigate to Design tab and select your Cloud Template.
  3. Click Deploy.
  4. From the dropdown select Update an existing deployment.
  5. Select the affected deployment and click Next.
  6. Update the Deployment Inputs with desired change.
  7. Click Next and review the proposed plan.
  8. Click Deploy.
