Traceflow in NSX UI fails with dropped by firewall rule

Issue/Introduction

In NSX for vSphere 6.3.3 and 6.3.4 versions, you see these symptoms:

• Traceflow result shows as 'Dropped' by the firewall rule.
• You may see a warning similar to:
  
  Controller: *.*.*.* communication error, details: 400 Bad Request

Environment

VMware NSX for vSphere 6.3.x

Cause

This issue occurs due to an error in Base64 decoding in NSX Controller.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX for vSphere 6.3.5.

To work around this issue if you do not want to upgrade, ensure that 'Frame Size' is a multiple of 3 in Traceflow.
