Stretching VxRail cluster on a VCF environment fails during transport node configuration

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

Stretch cluster failure is reported in UI and the below failure is seen from domainmanager log:

2023-05-23T04:08:41.035+0000 ERROR [vcf_dm,1a6061cf05d4e7b6,9b26] [c.v.v.c.n.s.i.Nsxt30xTransportNodeCreationServiceImpl,dm-exec-17]  Error creating TransportNode for Host: <servername>.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 5.0

Cause

This issue will occur when there are more than 2 NICs mapped to overlay traffic.

Resolution

The issue has been fixed in VMware Cloud foundation 5.1 release.

Workaround:

To workaround the issue, please follow the steps mentioned under For VCF 5.0 in VMware Cloud Foundation : NSX-T uplink profile configuration to reduce NICs
