Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

After import of vRealize Operations Manager from vRealize Lifecycle Manager, the connect to management or workload domain workflow in SDDC Manager may fail, if there are vRealize Operations Adapters created manually with similar configuration.

Message: Failed to configure vCenter(Or any other product with adapter) <product-fqdn> in vROps <vrops-fqdn>, because Failed to manage vROps adapter Remediation Message:

VMware Cloud Foundation 4.x

Cause

Type: com.vmware.evo.sddc.common.vrealize.vrlcm.VrlcmException

Message: Failed to manage vROps adapter

Resolution

The issue has been fixed in VCF 4.3.0.

Workaround:

To workaround the issue, please follow the below mentioned steps:

  1. Log in vRealize Operations Manager UI.

  2. Delete manually created vRealize Operations Adapters with the <product-fqdn>.

  3. Under Administration->Management->Credentials, delete credentials object related to <product-fqdn>.

  4. Retry the failed workflow from SDDC Manager.
