Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

The privilege labels associated with suspend operations in vCenter show incorrectly such as:

  • privilege.VirtualMachine.Interact.Suspend.label
  • privilege.VirtualMachine.Interact.SuspendToMemory.label


Environment

VMware vCenter Server 7.0.x

Cause

This is a known issue in vCenter Server 7.0. It is only cosmetic and does not affect the privileges themselves.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in vCenter Server 7.0 U3c.

The untranslated labels can be safely ignored if the environment has not been upgraded to 7.0 U3c yet.
