Design Decision: Enable Enhanced vMotion Compatibility (EVC) on all clusters.

Resolution

Design Justification: Supports cluster upgrades without virtual machine downtime.

Design Implication: You can enable EVC only if clusters contain hosts with CPUs from the same vendor.

This design decision is supported in the following Domains. 
•    Management Domain
•    VI Workload Domain

This design decision is supported on VCF version 4.1 and higher.
