Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
The vSAN health check "Hosts with duplicate IP addresses" shows a red alarm.

Environment

VMware vSAN 7.0.x
VMware vSAN 6.x

Resolution

• If a duplicate IP address ( multiple addresses)  is configured on VMKNiCS interfaces on the different hosts in the same cluster, the health check will show a red alarm.
• Apply unique IP address in n/w subnet 

Additional Information

• This check ensures no duplicate IP addresses are configured on the VMKNICS among all hosts in the cluster.
• Any services that rely on the misconfigured interface might be affected by IP network connectivity issues.
