When launching Web console from HTML5 client VM summary page following error encountered "An error occurred while retrieving the web console URL."

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Folders created under "VMs and Templates" tab
• Privileges granted to any user at the folder level will report this issue 
• The User having folder level access and attempting to Login via HTML5 Client will Access issues with an error "An error occurred while retrieving the web console URL."

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 8.0

Cause

• The occurs due to the DataService property request that requests ESXi host certificate thumbprint needed by the envoy proxy to set the Webconsole ticket route to the ESXi host fails because the user doesn't have permissions to query the host property

Resolution

This issue is resolved in vSphere ESXi 8.0b (build number 21203435).
