Symptoms:
When the root partition runs out of disk space local configuration files can become corrupt.

Cause
The most likely cause of a out of disk space issue on the Skyline Collector is a log file which has grown too large.
Resolution
Please search through the Skyline Collector for files larger than 100MB and delete them.
Execute the following command from the console: “find /var/log -size +100M”
If you are unsure if a file is safe to delete, please post a question to the Skyline Communities or speak to VMware Technical Support.
