Issue/Introduction

vSAN ESA node running on ESXi 8.0 GA (build:20513097) may PSOD with '<Object UUID>: Failed to wait for object exit.'

Environment

VMware vSAN 8.0GA

Cause

This issue is caused by a deadlock situation between two zDOM resource requests.

Resolution

Restart ESXi host, to avoid re-occurrence, update to ESXi 8.0a Patch (build: 20842819) which includes the fix for this issue or higher.
