Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • NSX-T UI is failing on each page with the same error: 
Error: Index out of sync, please resync via 'start search resync policy'.
  • Following messages can be see on the NSX-T UI:
  • The following alarms will be reported too:


Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center

Resolution

This issue is resolved in NSX-T 3.0.2

Workaround:
  1. Access the three NSX-T managers with the root user.
  2. Navigate to and edit the file: /etc/search/conf/policy.properties
  3. Replace: "search.shoudBlockApiOnIndexingFailures=true" by "search.shoudBlockApiOnIndexingFailures=false".
