Skyline Advisor Skyline Advisor Inventory and Topology requires VMware Appliances to have VMware tools running. If VMware tools are not running on VMware Appliances then requirements such as hostname and IP address cannot be obtained.
Resolution
Please confirm VM tools is running on VMware Appliance VMs.
