This is a known issue affecting ESXi 5.5 and 6.x.
This issue is resolved in VMware ESXi 6.0 Patch Release 5.
The issue is resolved in Host Client 1.19.0 and later.
Workaround:
To workaround this issue, press the [ESC] Key which will clear the error.
Alternatively, you can also work around this issue by using a different web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox.
