Issue/Introduction
Design Decision: Use BGP as the dynamic routing protocol.
Resolution
Design Justification:
Enables the dynamic routing by using NSX-T. NSX-T supports only BGP for dynamic routing.
SDDC architectures with multiple availability zones or multiple regions architectures require BGP.
Design Implication: In environments where BGP cannot be used, you must configure and manage static routes.
This design decision is supported in the following Domains.
• Management Domain
• VI Workload Domain
This design decision is supported on VVD version 5.0 and higher.
