Issue/Introduction

Design Decision: Set the share value for NFS traffic to Low (25).

Resolution

Design Justification: Because NFS is used for secondary storage, such as backups and vRealize Log Insight archives, its priority is lower than the priority of the vSAN traffic.

Design Implication: During times of network contention, backups are slower than usual.

This design decision is supported in the following Domains. 
•    Management Domain
•    VI Workload Domain

This design decision is supported on VCF version 4.1 and higher.
