Patch to make VMware NSX 6.4.x compatible with Chargeback Manager for Service Providers 2.7.3

Issue/Introduction

This article provides guidance on how to make the VMware vCenter Server collector in Chargeback Manager 2.7.3 compatible with NSX 6.4.x
The System Health tab shows the vShield Manager Data Collector is down.

Resolution

1. Stop All the Chargeback Services
2. From Windows Explorer navigate to <CHARGEBACK_HOME>\vShield Manager DataCollectorEmbedded
3. Edit the "VSM_DC_Embedded_Service_Install.bat" file.
4. Remove -Dhttps.protocols="TLSv1.0", -Dhttps.protocols="TLSv1.1"
5. Save and close.
6. Open cmd prompt in Administrator mode.
7. Navigate to <CHARGEBACK_HOME>\vShield Manager DataCollectorEmbedded
8. Type the below command to uninstall your Collector:
VSM_DC_Embedded_Service_Uninstall
9. Type the below command to reinstall your Collector:
VSM_DC_Embedded_Service_Install
10. Navigate to <CHARGEBACK_HOME>\vShield Manager DataCollectorEmbedded\lib
11. Replace the jar [“vsmclient-2.0.0.jar”]
12. Start All the services.
