Issue/Introduction

What causes the "RW:VLAT:PAT:MTH:" messages to appear within the CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM) STDLOGs and how to address them?

An example message:

SERVER1 domsrvr 13288 ERROR dombase.c 493 Unknown message get_attr received in RW:VLAT:PAT:MTH:

Environment

Release: 14.1 or higher

Cause

These messages occur due to an incorrect customization on the custom htmpl forms.

Resolution

Most frequent cause are that there may be a few string/integer fields that are set as "dtlLookupReadonly" when they should be "dtlReadonly".

To address, one should examine the customized HTMPL forms in the NX_ROOT/site/mods directory and locate any forms that were assigned a custom "dtlLookupReadonly" field and then replace the references as "dtlReadonly".
