Upgrading NSX on bare metal server may fail "New NSX services did not come up on the host node"

Issue/Introduction

• You're running NSX 3.2.0.x.
• You have bare metal servers configured for NSX.
• You're attempting to upgrade NSX on the bare metal server.
• You observe the following error when attempting to upgrade the bare metal server: 

"New NSX services did not come up on the host node"

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center

Resolution

When upgrading from a version of NSX earlier than 3.2.1 you may hit this issue.

Workaround:
Manually reboot the transport node then resume the upgrade process.
