Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
When adding a SaltStack Config integration point in vRealize Automation you may encounter an error if your URL contains a slash "/" at the end of the address:
Failed to validate credentials. Error: Something went wrong in a backend service.

An example URL that would cause this issue is: https://my-scc.server.com/

Environment

VMware vRealize Automation 8.8.x
VMware vRealize Automation 8.7.x

Cause

This is caused by a code error that is utilizing an additional slash at the end of the integration URL

Resolution

This issue will be resolved in vRealize Automation 8.8.2.

Workaround:
To work around this issue, remove any trailing symbols from the URL.
For example, use:
https://my-scc.server.com

Instead of:
https://my-scc.server.com/
