"error reading extension instance" logged by TMC extension manager every five seconds

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• A Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) workload cluster has been added to Tanzu Mission Control (TMC) or the TMC extension manager has been manually installed to a TKG workload cluster.
• You see a message similar to the following in the logs for the extension-manager pod  in the vmware-system-tmc namespace:

Resolution

These messages are being logged erroneously and can be ignored.
