VIC OVA install wizard accepts a longer password than the VIC plugin installer allows

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• VIC plugin install during the VIC Appliance initialization fails with "Validation failed: VIC appliance password is incorrect." when using very long passwords.
• You see messages similar to the following in the fileserver logs in the VIC appliance:

Apr 09 15:50:45 vicappliance00.gsslabs.org start_fileserver.sh[1394]: Apr  9 2019 15:50:45.857Z INFO  op=1400.14: VIC appliance password length is more than 30.
Apr 09 15:50:45 vicappliance00.gsslabs.org start_fileserver.sh[1394]: Apr  9 2019 15:50:45.857Z ERROR op=1400.14: Install failed: VIC appliance password is incorrect.

Note: you can access the fileserver logs on the VIC appliance by running journalctl -u fileserver.service | grep password

Environment

VMware vSphere Integrated Containers 1.5.x

Resolution

Supported password length is 30 characters in versions VIC 1.5.0 - 1.5.2.
This issue is resolved in VIC 1.5.3.
