Tanzu Mission Control doesn't support managing workload cluster with multiple node pools in vSphere

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• You have registered a Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) 1.3.1 management cluster to Tanzu Mission Control (TMC).
• When you attach a workload cluster with multiple machine deployments to TMC, TMC will still scale the machine deployment to 0.

Environment

VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid 1.x

Cause

TMC is still using the TKG 1.3.0 interface which doesn’t yet support managing workload clusters with multiple machine deployments

Resolution

You can register a TKG 1.3.1 management cluster to TMC but TMC manages the lifecycle of single node pool clusters only.
