Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • Upgrading from VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.x to 2.3.x fails with the error, "Failed to populate createdDate and updateDate field in processingtask table"
  • VMware Cloud Foundation was previously upgraded from version 2.1.x to 2.2.x.


Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.x
VMware Cloud Foundation 2.3.x

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware Cloud Foundation. There is currently no resolution.

Workaround:
To workaround this issue, retry the failed upgrade as it should succeed on the second attempt.
