Issue/Introduction
The article provided guidance on the limitation of using a Consolidated Architecture in VMware Cloud Foundation.
Environment
VMware Cloud Foundation 3.7.x
Resolution
When Cloud Foundation is deployed using a Consolidated Architecture, the following limitations exist:
Deploying Horizon is not supported through the UI, the option will be disabled.
NSX-T is not supported to be deployed in the Management Workload Domain.
Additionally, the following caveats exists:
No Day-N automation in terms of Workload Domain deployment & Management. Users will have to manually login to the vCenter to complete such actions.
LCM will still handle upgrading components on the management domain but if there are not enough resources this could have a performance impact on the customer environment.
