Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • Workload domain creation fails with error: "Configure new vCenters and ESXi hosts from workload domains in vRLI".
  • There are already ten vCenter Servers registered with vRealize Log Insight.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 2.3.x

Cause

The vRealize Log Insight version included with VMware Cloud Foundation 2.x has a limitation of registering only 10 vCenter Servers.  This error will happen during the creation of an 11th workload domain.

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware Cloud Foundation 2.x. This issue is resolved in VMware Cloud Foundation 3.0.

Workaround:
To work around this issue, use the following steps to remove a vCenter Server from vRealize Log Insight.
  1. Open the Log Insight UI.
  2. Navigate to Administration, IntegrationvSphere.
  3. From the listed vCenter Servers, select one and click DELETE.
  4. In the SDDC Manager UI, restart the failed workload domain creation workflow.
