Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • The vRealize Automation load balancer health monitors are not enabled during a vRealize Automation deployment in VMware Cloud Foundation 3.0.x
  • If one or more vRealize Automation appliance nodes suffer an outage, the load-balanced vRealize Automation address may be inaccessible.


Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 3.0.x

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware Cloud Foundation 3.0.x. There is currently no resolution.

Workaround:
To workaround this issue, manually configure the vRealize Automation load balancer health options from the Networking & Security-->NSX Edges-->edge-#-->Load Balancer-->Pools page in the vSphere Web Client.

The pool names and associated monitors are:

vra-svr-443   - vra-svr-443-monitor

vra-vro-8283 - vra-vro-8283-monitor
vra-iws-443  - vra-iws-443-monitor
vra-ims-443  - vra-ims-443-monitor


Note: Ensure that all pool members have a State value of Enable.
