Issue/Introduction

To provide a support statement regarding Tanzu Mission Control (TMC) use of local registries

Cause

Currently there is no support for the use of a private or local registries to be used to attach clusters in TMC 1.x.

Resolution

Workaround:

Set up clusters that will attach to TMC to allow outbound connections and if you have a proxy add the following URLs to the allowlist:

*.tmc.cloud.vmware.com
console.cloud.vmware.com

You must also make sure that the proxy-related environment variables (HTTP_PROXY, HTTPS_PROXY, and NO_PROXY) are defined for the cluster's environment.
