vCenter Server is unreachable from OpsManager

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• In Ops Manager 2.2 & 2.3, vCenter Server is unreachable
• No firewalls exist between vCenter Server and Ops Manager
• NSX-T is installed and Ops Manager is placed on to a Logical Switch.

Environment

VMware PKS 1.x

Resolution

Ensure that the Ops Manager VM has an MTU setting of at least 1600. Additionally, ensure that the MTU on all network components (virtual and physical) between the Ops Manager VM and the vCenter Server have an MTU of at least 1600.
