Issue/Introduction
This article provides information on the problem that VMC vCenter gets inaccessible with ICMP after an SDDC 1.12 upgrade maintenance.
Symptoms:
Symptoms:
- VMC vCenter gets inaccessible with ICMP after Phase 1 of an SDDC 1.12 upgrade maintenance.
- VMC vCenter can be still accessible with HTTPS using vSphere Client.
Resolution
This issue gets fixed when Phase 3 maintenance is completed. This problem is going to be fixed in the future SDDC release.
Workaround:
There is no workaround.
VMC vCenter can be accessible with HTTPS using vSphere Client. Please consider stopping ping to VMC vCenter temporarily until Phase 3 maintenance is completed if your monitoring system uses ICMP monitoring.
