During a manual vMotion attempt [Destination Network] field does not get auto populate for VMs connected on N-VDS ports.

Issue/Introduction

During vMotion attempt [Destination Network ] field does not get auto populate when moving VM Host - Host.

This happens when VMS are attached to NVDS type portgroups and whose name contains "/".

Note :
CVDS  segments are not affected.

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

The "/" within the port group name fails to be escaped properly.  As a result, the destination port group is left blank in the vMotion menu.

Resolution

Workaround:
Rename the NSX T segment without the character "/" in the name.
