Issue/Introduction
This article provides steps to upgrade and interoperability of VMware Products.
Resolution
To upgrade VMware products and database compatibility:
- Go to VMware Product Interoperability Matrix
- Multi-Solution Interoperability and Multi-Solution Upgrade path.
For Example: Select vCenter Server and add another Solution as ESXi.
- vSphere Upgrade Path for all vSphere Products.
For Example: As mentioned in the below screenshot, select the VMware vCenter Server to see the vCenter upgrade path.
- For detailed Upgrade Path matrix looking for specific version is mentioned in the below article,
- While Preparing for Upgrade please make sure if the Hardware is Compatible with vSphere Products see VMware Compatibility Guide
- Check the Upgrade/Update Sequence for all vSphere Products see the below article for each version,
