Issue/Introduction

VMware is announcing the End of Availability (EoA) of existing security packages for the following Lastline SKUs

• Academic VMware NSX Defender (on premise) per User
• VMware NSX Defender (on premise) per User  
• Academic VMware NSX Detonator (on premise) per File  
• VMware NSX Detonator (on premise) per File

Resolution

End of Availability (Product): May 6, 2024

End of General Support (Product): May 5, 2025 or until the end of customer’s license

Note: VMware NSX Defender and NSX Detonator effective May 6, 2024. After this date, these packages will not be available for new purchase or renewal.
To continue using these services, please migrate your license to VMware vDefend NDR, which includes advanced threat prevention capabilities of IDS/IPS, Sandboxing, Network Traffic Analysis, and Network Detection and Response.
