Issue/Introduction

  • Unable to select some application profiles when a virtual server is added or edited from manager mode GUI.
  • One type of application profiles records (HTTP, TCP or UDP) is over 1000.



Environment

VMware NSX 4.x
VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.x

Cause

To select application profile list having more than 1000 records is not supported in manager mode UI.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX 4.2.0


Workaround:

A virtual server can be added or edited by following REST APIs.

POST /api/v1/loadbalancer/virtual-servers
PUT /api/v1/loadbalancer/virtual-servers/<virtual-server-id>
